Vehicles in Germany's City Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Law Enforcement State

Authorities stated they were alerted by a individual who found a car in Hanau marked with reddish substance

Roughly 50 vehicles have been marked with what seems to be human blood in the German municipality of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Automobiles, exterior walls and mailboxes were defaced, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they reported in a release.

Law enforcement say they were contacted during the night on Wednesday evening, when a resident discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a red-colored liquid.

The fluid had been placed in the pattern of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then discovered many other smeared automobiles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are banned in Germany under laws outlawing the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials report initial examinations indicate the liquid was likely human bodily fluid.

"There is still no lead as to where it came from; officials are presently not aware of any physical harm in association with the occurrence," they commented.

Local authorities said they were trying "to resolve the mystery" and have asked to the community for tips.

An important representative said the incident rendered him stunned and needed to be resolved promptly.

"This act strikes at the very heart of Hanau and revives the pain of the right-wing terrorist attack five years ago," he wrote on social media, recalling the death of nine victims by a assailant targeting individuals of foreign heritage in 2020.
